O'Canada - New Commission Prices - New Name

Howdy Y'all!

So, my life has been hectic for a while. With work, family, more work, film work, internships and more job hunting.

Just so you all know I am around, I do check out DA often and am getting back into the swing of art.

Finally got my password for DA changed after my email address was hacked and I couldn't access it. So I gots a name change too! :D

Recently I booked a trip to Canada for myself (The person who was going with me dropped out) and I shall be leaving in the first week of October, coming back mid-November. So that means I'm spending my 21st Birthday alone in Montreal (FUCK YEAAAAAH) and also spending my 2-year anniversary alone in Winnipeg (mega-sad-cry-face) But if I get a fantastic wifi hotspot in the city or in a nice park I hope to contact my handsome man via Skypular! Maybe we can share a sunset. Why isn't he coming with me you ask? Simply not enough money. This trip is going to end up costing $5000ish probably more and I've already paid for about $3500 of that. Anyway, this trip will be fantastic! Scary, a  "first time by myself overseas" experience, but fantastic. And after getting back, my money situation should actually be ok enough to move out! (Finally!)

Been a while, I know.
Been doing so much TAFE work so haven't had much time for drawing seriously.

BUT holidays have swung by and it is glorious!!

:bulletgreen: Saw Elbow again, even more magical a second time.
:bulletgreen: had a job interview with Myer (will know very very soon if I have a job)
:bulletgreen: Made my financial goal for moving out! Which will hopefully happen soon, provided this job is secure enough... I'm very scared.

Harro thar people and fuzzy-butts!

Dead? I not dead... it's all lies! I've just been very very busy.
As some of you know I was Head of Video Team at MiDFur the 13th (massive furry convention in Melbourne, Australia) And I just got back home today after a long and stressful but all in all fun four days. To explain why I've been so busy, I guess I should just say, TAFE doing Film&TV at the same time as organising for MiDFur and just life in general have been getting in the way. But NOW I am free for the remainder of the holidays! YAY! I have until the end of February to live it up!

And so I'd like to open up commissions for an indefinite amount of time as I have the time to finish them and I'm also moving out (for the first time) in the middle of this year and need to work my butt off to save a heap of money. :) My goal is to make $4000 (mainly through my retail job) Wish me luck!

Simple, send me a note on DA with EXACTLY what you are after. Please remember to include any references (pictures or written).
I'll get drawing, once I'm done I'll allow you time to pay then upload a copy here and email you a larger, better quality file.

What If I want the real copy?
I can post it out to you, but I will expect you to pay postage costs. :)

What do you draw?
Lots of things. I prefer to draw anthro and feral animal characters and am VERY comfortable with dogs. I do dabble in humans, but I'm sill kind of sucky so if you want something in the way of humans, I'm not your dingo. :P

Whats been happening guys?
How have you all been?

I've been flippin' awesometacular!
This year just passed:
:bulletblue: I got my Diploma in Screen & Media (Film&TV)
:bulletblue: learnt so many new things
:bulletblue: made so many awesome new friends
:bulletblue: saw too many movies (hey I'm a film student, what's your excuse?)
:bulletblue: Got the best, most amazing boyfriend, yeah thats right.
:bulletblue: was on the board for MiDFur www.midfur.com.au

And this year is going to be even better!
On the books:
:bulletblue: bought tickets to see Elbow in March (they're coming back!!)
:bulletblue: Going to see Mr Tim Minchin VS The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra FRONT ROW CENTER SEATS! :woohoo:
:bulletblue: Final year of TAFE, final film projects, all round fun times.
:bulletblue: Having a table at this year's MiDFur, taking commissions and selling a few awesome little things

New years resolution: To get one of my films into a film festival.

The Most Magical Night

So last night I had the greatest time. I bought 2 tickets to Elbow for me and a friend who I got into the band (and now they love them.)
for WEEKS before hand I'd been gradually getting excited as I haddn't seen them live before and have been a fan for many many years, in fact, they are my fav band. Every time the subject was brought up I'd promtly say "FRONT AND CENTRE!" and guess what?! After a quick "experimental throw together" pasta dish and a bottle of french red wine we took a stroll down to The Palace and managed to squeeze our way into the front up against the barrier and ALMOST in the centre! At times during the gig the lead singer Guy Garvey would reach his hand out into the audience and shake peoples hands, unfourtunatelly I was way too short to reach him BUT FOURTUNATELY I had my faithful friend, Dustin behind me :D He hoisted my up by the waist so I could reach.... IT... WAS.....AWESOME!!! It was the most brilliant experience, this band's songs have been inspiring me for years! and to actually see them play and to feel the kick of the drum, and the violins, and Guy Garvey's beautiful voice... wow.

Oh hai everybody!

Long time no talk. How you doin?

So I've decided to keep commissions open for semester break, they will now close AUGUST 1st.

Why?
I'm moving out of home jan/feb next year and need to save like hell to make it! Running a little low on money at the moment, all because of TAFE things, Food, living items etc.

Seeing as the hard yakka of first semester is over I'm getting on with drawing much more often and becoming inspired by Fox Amoore. Speaking of inspiration, has anyone noticed the increase in REALLY young kids on DA? Hell, I'm all for young people being into art and stuff but these guys have to be younger than 13, and they just post pics of themselves. Maybe I'm just old. But I cant find anything really inspiring on DA, all I can find is a profile pics that look like they belong on facespace or mybook or something of the like.


So Ima going to head off and draw now :)
